Climb with Eli
May 1995

This was the first backpacking trip I went on after having Lyme disease. While it was a warmup for Eli, his ideas challenged me to improve my backpacking style and I will never again take a summer slumber bag camping in May in the Adirondacks. Eli slept soundly while I shivered. The trip rekindled my love for hiking in the Adirondacks. Click on images for a larger view.
