I accidently began at the Stone creek trailhead and found this beautiful view

The rain began at 9pm and lasted through the night -- here is the pretty stream on the climb toward Seward
133k
I'm getting wet by breakfast time
70k
A glimpse of a view before the rain restarts
167k
Water rushing down the herd path
122k
was cold because it was mixed with snow melt

It took me a while to figure out the herd path went down a beautiful chism full of raging water, but the herd path soon enough led me to Donaldson
111k
On Emmons the camera went on the fritz -- taking uncontrolled sequence of shots until it just quit working
242k
The next morning I hiked out to get a disposable camera for my climb of Seymour -- the herd path seems more interested in Seymour than the "trail" to Duck Hole
161k
The "easily ascended old slide was a mess during my ascent
189k
which included a thunderstorm downpour
228k
This slide picture were taken during the "tame" descent
150k
On Seymour between thunderstorms
70k
Lunch with a view
105k
The rain turned to drizzle and allowed a brief view under the cloud ceiling during the descent
210k
I enjoyed drying out in a lean-to during yet another thundertorm -- followed by sunshine
130k
The hike out included another thunderstorm, followed, finally, by clear skies; here beavers had several levels of ponds constructed
