And freshen up in the stream before dinner, finishing an exhausting 14.5 hour day of hiking |
Sleeping in until 5:30, we head out on a long hike: New Russa to Giant, but we also need to get there and back.
Another long day I call the "death march" because its hard on the feet and knees. |

On Rocky Peak Ridge we were visited by a Raven playing in the wind |
Cliff's hair blows in the wind. There is a great view of Giant's slide |
and this is a nice place for a short rest |
A long descent and climb later, we are on Giant |
and we begin the long descent of Giant |

Kris spikes his hair for dinner. He notes we have been hiking for 28.5 hours of the past 38.5 hours. |
