To Noonmark

To Algonquin and Iriquois

We pass Round pond on the way toward Noonmark	Fun climbing	A great view of the Great Range
Pausing out of the wind for a snack on the summit	Posing in front of Giant before heading down	Sliding on the way down
We camped on snow along the North Boquet, but used a bare patch for dinner	Great views driving toward Adirondack Loj	Climbing toward Algonquin
Nate plays on a waterfall	We stop for a much needed snack	and continue the climb
Nearing treeline, the trail blaze is nearly buried	At treeline	On the climb
We reach the summit with little wind and a tad of sunshine	View as we descend toward Boundary	Carefully crossing an ice patch

and watch snow flurries near and far	carefully approaching the steep part	that was easy
Back among the trees	Nate begins the descent toward Colden	We pass lots of ice along the stream
Good potential swimming holes	More stream ice	and more
Reaching Avalanche Lake	Its cliffs	Skirting the Lake on the trail
Cutting across the end of the lake	Ice in Avalanche Pass	An avalanche in the pass
Nearing Marcy Dam on the way out	A few miles of mud, and we are out
