First views hiking toward Gilligan	more views	woodpeckers have feasted
Next morning heading to Bald from New Russia	berries changing color	fine views
lovely trails	entering the garden zone on Bald	more to go
looking toward Rocky Peak Ridge	past the rock	nice gouges
looking back	going around this wall	pair of sheltering rocks
awesome views from the east shoulder	lovely moss	still the summit to go
but first the lake	with mountain bog cranberries	tadpoles on their way to froghood
and sundews getting a snack	path upward	leads to grand view of Giant
now to Giant	descending on the north	mushrooms
Fritarillary butterfly	on to High Banks	descending
crossing the river, aiming to scoot to near Bald	more mushrooms	an hour and half later glad to be on the ridge before Bald
the rock	on Bald	the next day facing parking in St Huberts
easy going trail	butterfly	steep ascent
first views of Giant	and the great range	cool intrusion
and wrapped intrusion	a grand view from the summit	Dix view too
awesome lunch spot	even for masses of dragonflies	a view, now to descend
meeting neighbors on the way up	watch a chipmunk and head home
