Setting up "camp in"	from the Loj at day brea	into the woods
soon enough a	break to	lose a layer
sun threatens the clouds	we reach Marcy Dam	with a hint of blue
again	time to	lose a layer
climbing	to Indian Falls; algonquin in the clouds	onward
snow covered trees	ascending in the gray	junction just below treeline, add lots of layers; freezing hands
above treeline in the gray	we ascend	wait, a tad of sun; photo time
a bit more clearing	we are above the clouds	there is Haystack
posing on the ascent	happily on top	we pose out of the wind
we take to the blast of wind on the very top	wind topples Brian as he turns to smile	we descend with great views

a view of Marcy we didn't see on the ascent	back to indian falls	and marcy dam
which is one of many	places for the weary to rest	the next morning we head to Owlshead Lookout in the snow
into the woods	lovely ice	we climb along it for a bit
woodpecker's work	snack	time
	beloved ice axe	we make it to the junction
a bit of steep on	the last stretch	is rewarded with views
wide views worthy of photos
smiles from	the edge	a pose
the descent begins	back to the ice	and it is snowing when we return to the car
