Dix Wilderness and a Knob

An early start into the Dix wilderness	I didn't capture a grouse faking hurt	another stream crossing
beaver pond reflection	to open rock on the Dix stream	a great spot for breakfast
more lovely stream	soon onto the shoulder	back to the stream
and onto the other shoulder	back to bedrock	the sign it is time to cut off the main stream
new jumble at the base of the slide	the slide	the views begin
more to go	more views	cranberry blossoms

great views	from the top	big clouds

mountain sandwort	white admiral	a few sprinkles along the way; clouds get
threatening	but I enjoy a fine lunch at the top of the east dix slide	fine views
and the descent begins	it is a beautiful slide	last views from the slide
mushrooms and the rain begins	Next day, climbing toward a knob near iron mountain	a hint I think
into the woods	sort of a view	quite a view

ahead lies iron	blueberries	other flowers
lots of rocks	a view toward giant	a pose
and I wasn't the only one to think it might be nice to cool off at split rock falls
