At the trailhead, greeted by a friendly dog	on the old road in colors	Marcy dam in the gray
a bit more easy hiking	portrait 1	portrait 2
ready to climb	and we climb to lake arnold	a pose
bugs and pads	nice trailside	a nice scramble
gathering on the rock	and above the cloud	we lunch
beside the alpine vegetation	a bit down	more up
a pose	and another	under the rock
and out	some mud	we make it the summit
mud sandals	a pose	the steep descents begin

between the rocks	celebrating life	carefully
descending on	wet rock	to lake colden
a smile	soon enough at avalanche lake	the trap dike in the clouds
boardwalk	along the cliffs	crazy walkways
finding mud at the lake's end	a pose	back to marcy dam
back toward south meadow in the fall colors	we pose	stretch, gag
all feet on the ground in the morning	some easy walking	a lovely stream
climbing through colors	almost there	final scramble
through colors	offer some fine views	modeling his ushanka
above the forest	everyone	has
smiles	we pose	smiles
huddle	play with dogs at the lookout	back to the cars
