Into the woods at the New Russia trailhead for Bald	lose a layer	hemlock carpet
first views	posthole	ice axe doesn't touch bottom
time for snowshoes	more views	frozen drifts
dead tree	next knob	nice viewpoint
deer following the packed path	a traverse	with views
a roller	steep climb	drifts ahead
open climbing	with rocks and cedar	reaching the clouds
we enjoy the summit and pose	the clouds rise just to our level	and give us views
of the house	descending	first snowball aside
one for me	another poorly packed	some cedar
descending snow	and ice	Next day new snow at the trailhead for balanced rocks
climbing	climbing	a glimpse of the rocks
using the ice axe	a break from the climb	taking a good break
missing the timer shot	but making the next	there must be a view
down below	snow triangle in the crevise	under the ledge
peeking at the crevise	back around	leaving the rocks
a pretty path downward	snow covers our tracks	almost a view
