Skylight and Marcy

On the old road to Marcy Dam	Marcy Dam	lots of new signage
lake arnold	snow on the trail	hint of a view from the col
the NE colden slide	bridge mostly out	old boardwalks
are a bit too tenuous for me	so I walk down the river instead	regain the trail at feldspar
rinsing the gravel from my shoes	at the outlet to lake tear of the clouds	which offers a view of marcy
snow impedes the way	lunch on skylight with its views all around	grass returning to life
a peek at the summit of Marcy	lapland rosebay	leatherleaf I presume
alpine azalea buds	moss and clubmoss on the descent	reaching wide views on the climb of marcy
still more climbing to do	a look back at skylight	and the colden slide
a raven soars	I pose	summit vegetation
a photographer	alpine clump just starting to awaken after winter	the descent beckons
haystack and an alpine bog	boardwalk	more snow
a glimpse of tabletop	a good rest at indian falls	cones getting a start
