Hike with LOC near Hawk Mountain

After dodging bullets at a firing range, we find a woods road	that leads to the AT	woods hiking, but a water break is called for
Brian thinks it is hot	more water	and we huff up the long incline to the ridge
Brian goes for a leaking sandwich	lots of rock scrambling	careful steps
pondering a lunch spot	but not stepping back	we find a nice lunch spot, high
and low	hiking and climbing	we reach the crowded north view
we gather	see some birds	soak in the sun
views	more birds	descending
sandstone	old sand site	planned descent on rocks
unplanned descent on rocks	we gather	check out the rocks
ponder the river	some take the trail, others the river	more river
nearing the end	a scoot through the woods	some grape hunting, and we are done
