A glimpse of the climb to come	soon enough staring down	and nearing the steep rock on the ridge
a splendid view	last glimpse of the gap as reaching the ridge	at the winter trail junction, a detour above palmerton
with views of the industry	an views of the old terraces used for the detour	eventually reaching power lines
the trail sneaks away from the views into woods	wanting a view for lunch	I scramble open rock to the ridge where there is seating for several
views south	and grand vistas north	a fine lunch spot indeed
I follow the ridge back to the power lines, lead by paths in the grass	a tree on the ridge	descending back to the terraces
views over the city	the Gap now in glare	a lovely descent
along the winter trail	visited by a bird as nearing the car
