The Hodgepodge Machine
 The Hodgepodge machine is an automaton that model oscillating chemical reactions as well as spred of infections. The images below give some examples of the behavior that occurs for various parameters (which are embedded in the file names). Further below are links to a J script for running these automata and a preprint of an APL Quote Quad article about the automaton.
